Remedial Mentoring Services
We offer a one-to-one relationship based on encouragement, constructive comments, openness, mutual trust, respect, and a willingness to learn and share with your staff based upon our business and hands on construction experience in restoration, remodeling, and renovations of buildings. It will benefit a more experienced employee as well as a less experienced employee in understanding the process of building restoration, remodeling and renovations as well as people skills that have developed over the 40 years of business experience.
As a mentor, we have to be a role model, a motivator and a counselor. Our responsibilities include but are not limited to: helping the employee set long-term career goals and short-term learning objectives; helping the employee understand the organizational culture; recommending and/or creating learning opportunities; transferring knowledge in other areas such as communication, critical thinking, responsibility, flexibility, and teamwork; pointing out strengths and areas for development; answering any questions; and being available for on going continuing support.
