Dispute Resolution Reports

We are an Appraiser, as defined under Section 9 – Appraisals in the Insurance Act. This section of the Insurance Act would be activated when a dispute arises as to the extent and/or value of the damage when the insurer and the insured can not agree. We are not, nor do we hold ourselves out to be lawyers or adjusters, but we know and understand the insurance industry, and as a result have had tremendous success in servicing our clients with our property loss management services and reports.

Also, outside of insurance, we can assist in any controversy or claim by a building or business owner and a contractor, whether such claim is for breach of contract, tort, violation of statues, or otherwise, arising out of or relating to any agreement, any representations or warranties, expressed or implied, or the goods or services of the contractor, can be settled by arbitration which is in accordance with the Construction industry arbitration rules of the Canadian Arbitration Association pursuant to the British Columbia Arbitration Act and the Federal Arbitration Act. By accessing our expert knowledge, experience and other resources, we are often able to re-adjust the focus of all parties in order to reach a mutually acceptable resolution.
